South Carolina Pulls Plug On Gay Tourism Ads
Posted by: MikeNY
Did Amro make the right decision to pick South Carolina for its gay ad campaign? I think more than a few of us were surprised to see it chosen along with Atlanta, Boston, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Washington, D.C.

Heinz UK Deli Mayo ad
Posted by: Michelle Penny
I saw the advert before it was taken off and thought it was a clever idea. Yes it was two men kissing but it was even really a gay kiss because the Deli man was actually "Mum". What do I think about Heinz taking it off the air? I think they've made a huge mistake and there's going to be a big backlash which is already been seen by an online petition and hundred of comments across sites that have featured it.

Gay Vague Ads - Intentional?
Posted by: Jerrel Peterson
In terms of creating Gay Vague ads on purpose, I believe that it is a logical way to generate revenue for a company because their advertisements reach a broader market. However, I feel that if a company can spend so much money on advertising, they could invest in the resources necessary to learn how to create and incorporate LGBT friendly ads in their campaigns.

What would you prefer a company to do?

To release a gay-inclusive commercial and revoke it under pressure from conservatives (like Heinz did in the UK)
To never create or release a gay-themed advertisement at all
